If you don’t need a full supercharger rebuild kit, or even a kit just for the snout, we have a range of original equipment and quality mainstream manufacturer bearings and seals to allow you carry out the required repairs on your Eaton or Eaton-derived supercharger.

Always remember that to avoid an expensive replacement you shouldn’t leave it too long before you fix a noisy supercharger, or the rotors will start to eat themselves and the outer casing. If your Eaton supercharger is staring to make noise, don’t put off deciding to embark on a supercharger rebuild, or you may regret it! Our Eaton supercharger rebuild kits are usually the best solution, but if you know you only need specific seals or bearings we can help there as well.

Quality Parts & Materials

We supply our snout oil seals and many of our internal seals in the best Viton materials, we use highest quality SKF bearings in most of our roller bearing sets and the needle rollers we use are genuine INA, who supply original equipment for Eaton.

Oil Seals & Bearings

In general, there isn’t very much that can go wrong with a supercharger. Oil seals can fail, or bearings can wear out. In either case, replacing them is necessary, and if you have workshop facilities and access to a hydraulic press, you may wish to take the task on yourself with one of our Eaton supercharger rebuild kits or with the individual parts you need.

If specifically asked we can provide seals and bearings for rebuilding rotor packs, but this is a challenging task rarely completed successfully. If your rotor pack is damaged, we do not recommend attempted repair as the only sure way to fix a worn rotor pack is to obtain a new item from Eaton.

Drive In Service

Alternatively, bring the car to us for drive-in / drive-out Eaton M112 supercharger rebuild service including removal from and refit back to your Jaguar or Range Rover. Call us to discuss pricing and options for this service.

Upgrade Solid Couplers

If you need to replace a failed coupler (isolator), we can provide genuine Eaton original equipment replacements, or we have available the popular solid upgrade types made of oil impregnated plastic which are the most common choice.

Like any lubricated mechanical device your supercharger needs fresh oil, as the ‘sealed for life’ claim only means it will last until it’s out of manufacturer warranty period! Jaguar and Eaton factory fill a high quality synthetic aviation turbine oil, but this oil is not indestructible and does oxidize gradually over years of exposure to high working temperatures.

After only 50,000 miles, the original oil can have degraded from the nice clear sample on the left to burnt-smelling brown soup like the right hand sample – not good for protecting the bearings and seals in your Eaton supercharger!
