If you’re considering a rebuild for the snout of your Eaton M112 supercharger – or if there is nothing wrong with it at all – it is definitely worth considering an upgrade! Jaguar and Range Rover models with the M112 supercharger benefit hugely from the very simple upgrade that a supercharger drive ratio change provides. There is a general choice of 6% or 10% pulley drive upgrades, representing 25bhp/ftlb or 40bhp/ftlb improvements (at midrange – high rpm peak power rise for both is likely to be perhaps 12-15bhp).

While the alternative 6% upgrades are a relatively simple in-situ remove/refit job, the much more worthwhile 10% pulleys require material to be trimmed from the snout to provide clearance for the smaller 10% upper pulley. This trimming operation can be done in-situ using hand tools, but a much tidier finish (to the ideal size retaining maximum strength and free of stress-raising flaws) is achieved when the snout is turned down in a lathe, giving a perfectly machined finish. If you need your snout upgrade with 10% pulley completed to the highest standards, send it to us to be machine finished for peace of mind.
